The Wikipedia gendergap and what we're trying to do about it Ever since we got confirmation of our suspicions that women were massively underrepresented as Wikipedia editors, the Wikimedia community has strived to decrease the gendergap. This talk will present some of our initiatives, outline what has worked and what has not, and what we are doing right now. But it will also define some of the reasons why women haven't started editing, and why they stop.
