Having mountains of worthless—I mean questionably useful—data happens to the best of us. It starts out innocently enough, a log table here, a soft delete column there. But before you know it backups and restores are failing, disk space is running out, and life is miserable.
It doesn't have to be that way! We'll cover strategies for how do deal with too much data, plan for it when it's unavoidable, and best yet: learn how to build your application so your data doesn't grow out of control in the first place.
