Our community is huge, spanning not just the country but the whole world. It's easy to get wrapped up in our own local meetups and companies and the fashions of the minute and forget that all kinds of people from all kinds of places get into the tech industry and the tech parts of other industries and we all do what we do for a many different reasons.
