After managing development teams for more than 10 years, I was made redundant pretty much on the day my daughter was born. This seemed a perfect time to start a company with a friend.
There have been a lot of ups and downs, but 5 years later we're still here. This talk is some of the lessons we've learned, in the form of tips I can share with other Perl hackers thinking about starting a company.
